Our vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive community hub where every resident of Denmark can connect, belong, and thrive.
The transformation of the former Early Childhood Center into the Denmark Community Center and Library will ignite opportunity and connection for our community. This project, led by OneDenmark and the Brown County Library, will feature a new main entrance with a covered walkway, a public library, multi-purpose spaces, small and large meeting rooms, a community food pantry and closet, business rental spaces, gym and fitness areas, community rental spaces with a kitchen, dedicated areas for teens and children, a health suite, an Internet café with laptops, printers, charging stations, and much, much more.
Creating a community center in the heart of Denmark will give residents a centralized place to access a wide variety of services. By reopening the library and restoring public Wi-Fi, we are ensuring that every resident has the chance to thrive in a digitally connected world, reducing social isolation and enhancing access to essential services. It will be a safe gathering place for all residents, with special programming for education, fitness, wellness, and more.
